Providence is a ‘connectional’ church, being part of the synod of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church  with less formal ties to other Reformed churches through other organizations. We are a member of North American Presbyterian and Reformed Council (NAPARC), the World Reformed Fellowship (WRF), and the International Conference on Reformed Churches (ICRC) . . . but in no way associated with the World or National Council of Churches
